First, make an appointment with a vet to confirm that there isn’t something going on (medically) with your dog. While it’s possible you dog’s lethargy is related to the transition to their new home (change can be exhausting for animals the same way it is for humans), make an appointment with a veterinarian to rule out medical issues.
In addition to talking to a vet, try experimenting with different treats and toys to see if any excite your dog. If you find a treat or toy that she loves, start incorporating that items into daily routine. Check out our new dog shopping list for toy and treat ideas.
Lastly, does your dog have any canine friends? If not, use this week to set-up a doggy date for next weekend. If she appears to have fun, start scheduling these regularly. Just be mindful of your dog's body language to make sure she’s comfortable and having fun.
